I'm Kim Papageorge, founder and principal designer of Kim Papageorge Interiors. 

 

For more than 35 years, I've had the privilege of creating beautiful, functional homes for clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Based in Danville, California, I specialize in high-end residential interiors that blend timeless design with the way people truly live.

 

As a boutique studio, I remain personally involved in every phase of the design process, from the initial concept and space planning to the final installation. Working alongside an exceptional network of artisans, builders, and craftspeople I've cultivated over many years, each project receives the attention, collaboration, and level of detail it deserves.

 

My career has taken me from the San Francisco Design Center to luxury residential design, production home building, builder design centers, and ultimately back to what I love most, creating homes that are as functional as they are beautiful. Whether designing a warm Coastal-inspired retreat, reimagining a Mid-Century home, or transforming a kitchen into the heart of the home, I believe every successful project begins with a strong foundation. Thoughtful space planning, timeless materials, layered textures, and carefully curated details create interiors that feel effortless, personal, and enduring.

For me, great design has never been about following trends. It's about listening, understanding how each client lives, and creating spaces that support everyday life while elevating it. From the first floor plan to the final furnishings, I strive to make the design process organized, collaborative, and enjoyable.
